Well, today is day 11 of my journey to my THIRD child...yup...that is right.
This photo? Me exiting the local jail after being fringer printed!
I went to the local sheriff's office only to be told that I needed to go across the parking lot to the jail...to be finger printed. So there I was watching a whole lot of chaos.
A seemingly grumpy lady ended up being nicer than her rough exterior conveyed. She worked my fingers into that black ink and completed two sets of prints that will be sent off to the local FBI processing center. They take ~10 days to process.
Since leaving AZ and moving to ME, I have embarked on a new learning experience but it seems quite familiar to how my family has been formed thus far.
Remaining:
-24 hours of classes
-a medical release for me (Must be completed by a physician. I'm hoping that my AZ physician can complete this since I don't yet have a physician in ME)
Then...Phase II:
-fire marshall inspection
-social worker interviews/visits
-Writing up a profile
-Approval to adopt
Then....Phase III: The Wait.
I can't believe that in 11 days all but two items for which I am responsible have been completed and submitted.
Request: Please pray for my future son or daughter. May he/she be safe tonight, tomorrow and between now and then - whether he/she is in a uterus tonight or is in a crib somewhere. May he/she feel some love - seriously, the sense of being loved/cared for/connected to at least one other human being.
Thanks!
Life = a crazy journey!
