My Baby Girl Turned 4 today...

2.10.10 - 4 years with an amazing girl who has grown from infancy to preschooler so very quickly.

Where does the time go? It seems like she was born sometime last year....ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Celebrations included:
Her first overnight/sleepover and major birthday party. 2/6-7. G, Rylee, Madison, Sophia and Zade enjoyed pinata, coin find, egg/spoon race, various blind folded games, making pizza, cake and ice cream, wearing princess/prince costumes and sleeping in the basement. The party ended after swimming time at the pool where we have a membership.

On her actual birthday, I took the day off and G, Z, Mem and I spent the day together. She opened the gifts from me including a pink scooter and opened her presents from her father that arrived by overnight FedEx. We went to a library story hour and met with our new friend, Natalia and her Mom. We then went out for lunch and ice cream cones. We ended at the Children's Museum of Maine where we played for ~ an hour. Then, on our way out of the museum, the kids got to get on a school bus for a minute or so - a first time and every exciting time for them. The driver was Horrace Benner from Rockland and it was a very special time. We headed home and G got to ride her scooter outside.

At bedtime, I asked G what she was most thankful for today. She said - "Being a family." My heart melted. Tomorrow is back to work for me but I just enjoyed this day so much!

I suprirsed the kids by changing out of jeans into a dressier dress. Zade came up over the stairs as I was putting on makeup. I heard this little voice that said "Mama is a princess!" and I turned to see very sweet eyes and a nice smile on my little prince.
