Hello, I found your blog from Jean's There is no place like home blog. I am hoping you can help me with a school project I am doing. I am in school, working towards my masters in nursing in leadership. I need to do a 90 hour practicum and I am choosing the adoption community. I would like to be able to ask you some questions about support you have received through your adoption experiences. If you would please email me, I would appreciate it. I, in no way, want to impose on your family and their personal lives. It is a pretty easy questionaire, not difficult at all.
I read a couple of your blog entries and want to make a couple comments: The one about the nurses, very disappointing that some health care professionals can act that way. I do see it and it is awful. I recently had an awful experience with my daughter's new physician. It was not him but a resident but, the physician is only as good as his weakest link and the resident was very weak so no more going to this doc. My daugher is from China and adopted at age 5 and does not need them to question me about her birth weight, etc. Really? The second comment, I read your adoption entry from June 2011. Oh my, I had very similar feelings. I hope everything is going well now. I will add you to my prayers.
